Haunted Ghost Walk
Come join us for an approximate 90 minute, lantern-led walk through historic downtown McDonough. Think you know about the Square? Come hear stories about the dead who still patronize the shops and restaurants refusing to cross over. Would you believe us if we told you that you might have dined in one of McDonoughs most well-known locations which previously served as the city morgue from the Historic Camp Creek Train Wreck? What if we told you that you might have gazed at art while a reported resident ghost lurked over your shoulder? Learn stories of the most haunted building in McDonough that has been featured on several history shows and grim details of why the ghosts may still be there. Hear the stories of recent sightings and interactions that we’ve been told by employees of several establishments on the Square and see if you’ve unknowingly rubbed shoulders with the supernatural.
